Electronic Tax Bills Service
The SBC Auditor-Controller/Treasurer/Tax Collector’s Electronic Tax Bill Service was created to save trees, increase efficiency, and provide an electronic method to deliver property tax bills. Your personal information will be safeguarded to ensure it is not used for any purpose other than what you have expressly requested.
The enrollment process requires you to provide us with your email address, name, phone number, and the parcel(s) for which you would like to receive tax bills electronically. Once we receive this information, we will provide you with enrollment authorization form(s) to print, sign, and return to our office. An enrollment form is required by Revenue and Taxation Code §2610.5 so that the tax collector can transmit a bill to the electronic address authorized by the taxpayer. This process insures that you are the billed owner of record. At any time, you may withdraw your election to receive property tax bills electronically, and may return to receiving paper bills. |
